With a strong foundation in manufacturing and a certification/degree in machining from an accredited trade school, I've spent the last three years in the manufacturing industry designing custom machines, fixtures, and processes that drive efficiency, improve technician productivity, and reduce costs.
Whether designing lifting mechanisms at Entegris, shop tooling at ESAero, or modular coaster systems at Magictecture, I focus on engineering solutions that are practical to fabricate and maintain. My experience spans shop tooling, jigs, and manufacturing support systems, all aimed at improving safety, ease of use, and production efficiency. From first concepts to shop-ready designs, I work closely with fabrication constraints in mind.
I hold a certified machining degree and have hands-on experience machining and welding a variety of custom parts. Across roles at ESAero, Magictecture, Tesla, and my Howmet Aerospace senior project, I’ve created technical drawing packages using proper GD&T for both in-house machining and outside vendors. Many of these drawings were for parts I manufactured myself, giving me a direct understanding of how to design for toolpaths, tolerances, and assembly constraints.
At Entegris, I implemented an organization system that included CNC-machined foam shadow boards, color-coded tool kits, and a sourcing + tracking spreadsheet aligned to 5S principles. The system improved technician efficiency and accountability, and I also created detailed instructions and inventories to support long-term use. At ESAero, I supported internal tooling design and helped ensure part designs could move efficiently from CAD to the shop floor.
